Welcome to Our Family & Pet-Friendly Campground
Looking for a cozy place to camp where everyone feels welcome? Our small, family- and pet-friendly campground is built around community, kindness, and helping one another when it matters most.
Our sites may not be large or private, but they’re fairly level and full of friendly faces. What we lack in size, we more than make up for in heart. Campers here quickly become neighbors — and often friends.
No worries! All new campers with E-Vehicles receive one free charge per stay, so you can relax and enjoy your visit without stressing about distance.
Enjoy our heated saltwater swimming pool, perfect after a day of exploring. In the evenings, gather around our community firepit, where stories, laughter, and s’mores are always on the menu.
We’re only a 3-minute drive to beautiful Crescent Beach.
Feeling adventurous? Rent one of our E-bikes and take a scenic off-road ride — you’ll be there in about 10 minutes!
If you’re looking for a simple, welcoming campground with a strong sense of community and a fantastic location, we’d love to have you stay with us.

Welcome to Lockeport Campground & Cottages. Your hosts, Susan and Rudy Sommer, are delighted to welcome you. Since purchasing the campground int he fall of 2018, they have completed extensive renovations and improvements to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience for their guests.
Susan has worked in the travel industry for the past 27 years, including 12 years as a travel agent and the last 15 years providing back-office support for travel agencies. She has travelled throughout Europe and the Caribbean and enjoys spending her free time in her workshop or working around the campground.

He spent 20 years working in the hospitality industry and brings a wealth of experience and a passion for welcoming guests.
During your stay, you'll often see Susan and Rudy taking their morning and evening walks around the campground with their new addition to the family, Sina, who is a Ttoodle. (Tibetan terrier and poodle) They look forward to meeting you and helping make your visit to Lockeport a memorable one.

Welcome to the family, Sina!
Sina is a Mini Ttoodle, a cross between a Tibetan Terrier and a Poodle. Born on March 2, 2026, she is growing quickly and discovering the world one adventure at a time.
She loves strolling around the campground and happily greeting everyone she meets. Friendly and affectionate, Sina enjoys spending time with people and is always excited to make new friends. She also loves meeting other dogs, although she is still a young puppy and is learning how to interact with them appropriately.
With her cheerful personality and curious spirit, Sina is bringing plenty of joy and excitement to her new family. Watching her grow, learn, and make friends is sure to create many wonderful memories in the years ahead. 🐾❤️
